        Verdict

        Richard Hannon's yard has a terrific record in this maiden and the stable run Zapped, who started favourite on his debut at Leicester, and the once-raced Ice Bond this year. But Henry Candy sent out last year's winner and VIBRANT CHORDS can follow up. He was just touched off by Steel Of Madrid here on debut but it's only a matter time before he goes one better. Dark Shot started off in a Class 2 event at Ascot and will have benefited from the experience while a market move for newcomer Taneen would have to be taken seriously.
