Verdict
Very few three-year-olds have run in this and none have won in it's seven-year history. Kyrenia Castle arrives on a hat-trick after completing a double in similar events at Catterick and Redcar. He has an obvious chance though meets slightly better class rivals. The other youngster in the race, Zaza Zest, looks to have an even better chance as she's been competing at a fair level and has even managed a 5lb rise for finishing third last time. Her stable also run Gabrial The Thug, who completed a hat-trick at Wolverhampton earlier in the year and suffered in the weights as a consequence. Conry was beaten in a seller last time so the vote goes to VICTOIRE DE LYPHAR (NAP). Ruth Carr's veteran has won seven races including a treble in the early part of last season. He's hasn't won for a long time but his placed efforts in far superior class events to this recently suggest he has an outstanding chance in this company.
