Kew The Music deserves to get his head in front following a string of decent efforts but probably needs more help from the handicapper and preference is for Tuscarora, who gets the vote ahead of Blue Java. The last mentioned lacks a previous run this term but Hugh Morrison is quite capable of producing one after an absence and the very capable Travis Block is decent value for his claim. Del Mar Sunset is not as good on the turf as the all-weather and of more interest may be Balerno, who returns to grass on a fair mark. Shielaligh has claims on recent form but would probably prefer a softer surface, while City General is well treated on his best and resumed winning ways on sand recently. The vote though goes to Tuscarora, who has been in good form on the all-weather this winter and returns to turf on a fair mark.
