Lenkiewicz hasn't handled cut in the ground particularly well in the past and was outclassed in the October Stakes when last seen. Kurtanella has failed to build on promise she showed as a juvenile, En Fuego won a maiden two starts ago but was very disappointing on handicap debut, whilst the mark of Sard still needs to drop further to make her tempting. Touch Tone may get competitive despite being 6lb higher than her last winning mark but Imperial Delight offers little appeal as he prefers quicker ground and doesn't particularly act on soft as demonstrated by a less-than-inspiring effort here last time. First Cat runs from the top of the weights and his only win came at this course so could be capable of another good run. Burghley needs to drop further in the weights to look appealing having failed to perform since a winning debut. Spa's Dancer won on the artificial off this sort of mark but our preference is for KINGS BAYONET with Tom Queally in the saddle. He is 3lb higher than a narrow loss to Rough Rock at Folkestone when going off as favourite and looks well placed to go one better.
