      Verdict

      Auriferous made the frame yet again at Thirsk last month but may have t settle for a place again behind FRANKLET, though the Gosdens’ filly did find an Andrew Balding-trained runner too good when favourite over this trip at Kempton last time. Modestus will almost certainly improve on his fourth over 1m2f here last month and can’t be left out of calculations but Lord Marbury and Victoria Line may need today’s experience.
