It may be worth giving FYELEHK the opportunity to prove himself on turf; viable alternatives include Billy Beetroot and Almazar. Rod Millman's team have been in fine fettle recently which bodes well for the chances of Fyelehk on his return to action which sees him rated 8lbs higher than when winning at Kempton. That rise seems rather harsh given the quality of the contest but he's relatively unexposed and may prove as effective on turf. Almazar is tried in cheekpieces having failed to justify favouritism at Yarmouth where he still appeared to be rather green. The headgear may help him to concentrate whilst Eddie Ahern (who has ridden more winners for the yard than anyone else this season) takes the ride for the first time. Billy Beetroot is a consistent sort who has proved his competitiveness from his current mark. He should give another good account in an open race where a number of the participants have something to prove; not least the selection, Fyelehk.
