Yet another fillies' race on the card - but a good one, and this time for juveniles - with the vote going to Nidhaal, but Mrs Snaffles, Tara Too, Oceans Apart and Cantabria are all very much respected. The selection improved on her debut maiden win when beating all bar Mixed Blessing in the Princess Margaret Stakes at Newbury last time. She looked there as though she could improve again on that performance and, with that being the case, she should go well here. Sweet Afton was behind her in fifth that day at Newbury. Tara Too had the subsequent Lowther Stakes runner-up, La Chunga, behind her when winning her Sandown maiden, and rates as an interesting prospect, while first-time blinkers had the desired effect on Oceans Apart at Chester last time, and she hold Jeanmaire by one-and-three-quarter lengths based on that form, and Christa Bee, who was fourth, by a further three lengths. Irish raider - one of two in the line-up - Mrs Snaffles, had some well-regarded types behind her when scoring in a maiden at The Curragh last time, and she is respected, while Cantabria looked a filly full of potential when she scored at Leicester last time, and she too is respected. Overall, though, in this interesting affair, we will side with Nidhaal.
