Woodsley House will not mind the conditions and has solid claims on form but Nerys Dutfield's colt is proving expensive to follow and preference is for Dart Along, who gets the vote ahead of Something. The last mentioned will probably start favourite on the evidence of his debut second behind Saint Jordi at Windsor although a subsequent here, in admittedly better company, leaves something to be desired and he may be best watched on his reappearance. Roger Charlton's Jalissa is entitled to improve on the form shown on her only start at two but the stable remain in the doldrums, while neither of the two newcomers, Stiletta Star nor Born To Be Bold, make much appeal first time out. The last mentioned is trained by Richard Hannon, who saddles two other runners in the race, Montecito and Dart Along, with the latter getting the vote under Ryan Moore. The son of Bahri has shown promise in all four starts as a juvenile, notably when a close fifth behind Rob Roy, and he is expected to improve now that he tackles a soft surface for the first time.
