Alatar looked a likely future winner when third over the track and trip on heavy going and probably found the ground too quick at Leopardstown. Alghazaal tackles a new trip after being caught close home over 1m2f at Cork and may be ridden with more restraint but this can go to VULTAN (NAP). Joseph O'Brien's charge was having his first start since November when mid-division at Down Royal last month where he didn't get the run of the race. There was something amiss with Pyramid Rock at Leopardstown and she's better judged on a fair run at Gowran in June though that was over a mile. Natchez Trace will need to improve for his run over the course and distance a couple of weeks ago.
