In depth

Verdict

Louisiana Gift is still a maiden on the Flat but lost his maiden in first-time blinkers at Newton Abbot last month and has them on again here. Long Wait has run poorly over hurdles and fences since his C&D victory but still looks reasonably treated on the level but it's the three-year-old MARCUS ATTILIUS who gets the nod. His only success to date came when tried over this trip for the first time at Dundalk and he ran well when dropped to 1m1f at Listowel. Concrete And Clay looks a big danger despite his weight as he's had little racing this year and is ideally suited by this trip on testing ground. Narima should make a very good hurdler this season and Music On D Waters is very much better than she showed when strongly fancied at Down Royal last time.
