Verdict

URBAN VIC was having only his sixth start when narrowly beaten by Dixie Highway at Ballinrobe and with, improvement likely, is taken to go one better. All Summer Long has yet to win over timber but has produced some good runs and any rain would aid his cause. Lasoscar had shown nothing before heading for Sligo last month where he came in for support and only just failed to catch Yes Man. He's likely to make progress and is on the short-list as is Station Closed, who attempted to make all at the same Sligo meeting and was only headed at the last. Festival Opera looked a certain future winner when just touched off at Navan in September 2014 but hasn't raced since.
