In depth

Verdict

Big Jim Dwyer has a Flat pedigree and led for a long way on his debut at Limerick. He'll have come on markedly for the run and should go close though there are plenty of dangers including BIRTHDAY BAYEB, who looked like winning a fillies' bumper on the same card until caught close home. The latter gets the vote as Hardwired, who has run very well on both occasions, could be better suited by more testing conditions. Gordon Elliott has two entries with Weseekhimhere, the mount of Jamie Codd, likely to prove better in these conditions than the more stoutly-bred The Greek, a half-brother to a winner between the flags.
