Darasal Wane was well backed on her reappearance at Gowran but could only finish fifth, almost six lengths by VASTITAS who is given a final chance to get off the mark here. Jim Bolger's filly has failed to justify market support at the Curragh and Limerick since that Gowran effort but hasn't run badly and this probably represents a slight easing in grade. Dermot Weld has trained the winner of this on a couple of occasion so it would be no surprise if Acts Out Loud improves on her debut effort at Tipperary while Betrothed is a lot better than she showed at Killarney last month.
