Jerandme has a penalty for last month's Down Royal victory but it will be a surprise if that's too much of a burden and he should get into the frame. STATE OF COGNAC was taking on older horses when staying on very strongly on the same track and wasn't beaten far. He should have come on enough to take this though the booking of Patrick Mullins for Steel Tornado catches the eye. Subset was there for a long way at Ballinrobe a fortnight ago and only faded in the closing stages so he's likely to be thereabouts with his yard going so well.
