Irish raider Steelriver has every chance at the weights but is difficult to recommend on recent form. VARSOVIAN is preferred as he’s been thereabouts in tougher plating races than this on the all-weather surfaces and should have the edge on Alkashaaf. There was only three runners when the latter finished runner-up here earlier while Ballesteros won a claimer at Windsor last year but has yet to score on the all-weather. Kavora has had just the one start but it doesn’t bode well making her reappearance at this lowly level.
