Verdict

LAKE SHORE DRIVE returns to this surface having won two of three starts on the all-weather. Both wins came over 2m and Johnny Farrelly’s charge is preferred to The Secrets Out, who scored over 1m6f here last time. The latter has yet to race over this far and the same comment applies to Astute Boy, a maiden winner over 1m4f and having only his second start for Harry Fry. Galileo's Spear has shown little since joining his current yard but looks more feasibly handicapped now while Fitzwilly is usually thereabouts and is back on a winning mark.
