A cracking turnout with almost all in top form. Jetez was facing good ground for the first time over hurdles when making all in a big field at Limerick so conditions will be in his favour. Winning bumper Canardier was also favoured by better ground when winning with something in hand at Down Royal and looks a smart prospect while Causey Arch is 2-3 since joining Willie Mullins though he only beat UISCE BEATHA narrowly at Sligo and with the weights favouring the latter here he gets the vote. Eamon High is very progressive and is another who enjoyed good going when scoring over this trip at Killarney while Scheu Time would probably have won at Aintree but for a last-flight fall though disappointed next time at Kilbeggan. Sally Park won two bumpers and showed real battling qualities when making most and staying on gamely at Sligo while Schmidt steps up to this trip for the first time after landing a handicap at Tramore.

Eamon High (IRE) 5-2 (11-4) Disputed lead and a little slow in jumping early, prominent, switched right early straight, soon challenged and on terms, mistake 2 out, stayed on well run-in to just prevail at finish, all out, won at Killarney 2m 4f mdn gd in May beating As You Were (11-12) by ns, 15 ran.
