In depth

Verdict

Bercasa has run well over hurdles since scoring over this trip at Leopardstown for which she's been raised 9lb. She meets LATCHET on exactly the same terms as when beaten almost 5l on the latter track in April and Jim Bolger's mare confirmed her excellent form with a battling victory on ground faster than ideal at the Curragh. She gets the nod though the very progressive Heliac looked a nice prospect when landing a maiden over the trip at Cork and starts out in handicaps on what could prove to be a lenient mark. Elleanthus has performed with credit in strong company and any rain would be appreciated but Divine Approach went up a massive 17lb for her victory at Navan in September and hasn't quite been able to cope.
