Verdict

Edith Somerville ran well on her introduction at Cork though was beaten a long way and will need to improve. Heated Debate appeared to be suited by a stiffer test of stamina when placed over 2m4f here last month but Red Spinner has shown some promise at Killarney and should continue to improve. Scorpion Wells could prove best of the newcomers but RAILWAY RULE should win this if ready after a break. He made an encouraging start at Leopardstown before just failing to reel in Red House Hill on heavy going at Down Royal and the quicker going should be in his favour.
