Verdict

Give Us A Hand likes fast ground as he demonstrated when last seen over fences in 2009 and will be better for a recent encouraging spin over hurdles. Winning point-to-pointer Tommy Turkle started favourite in a Tipperary handicap in May but never looked like winning and Amie Magnificent has gone backwards. Hily Distinguished did well to finish a close fourth behind Otay Kawn in what looked a decent beginners event at Kilbeggan and a repeat would see him in the firing line but another chance is given to FOR THE STAFF, who needs a thorough test of stamina which hopefully his rider will ensure here. Winning point-to-pointer Mister First has done well over timber and the five-year-old looks a threat with his age allowance.
