Verdict

A very tough handicap to unravel but DERRINLANNA looks well enough treated at the bottom of the weights and she was still in contention when falling at Kilbeggan last time after an excellent second to Kalico Kim there earlier. Ongenstown Lad is definitely on the upgrade and rates a big threat provided he is over his recent fall as his easy success at Sligo previously was a very good effort. Regal Ambition is another improver who got off the mark over timber over this C&D last month and a 6lb rise is by no means insurmountable. Brega Queen couldn't quite handle a 7lb rise for her victory at Downpatrick when just touched off by Soldier's Bay at Down Royal but she's another to consider along with recent winners Face Facts and Fair Dilemma.
