Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

This doesn't look quite as strong as the opening heat and we'll take PRIME MOOD to make it third time lucky, while Shaker Style could emerge as the leading danger. Prime Mood has finished runner up on both starts to date, over this trip and the minimum. He should act on any going and be very effective over sprint trips, being by Choisir, and a repeat of either run or improvement will probably be good enough from what is a good draw. Shaker Style has run well enough in context and first-time blinkers may well galvanise him to greater efforts here, though with a high draw and slower ground they will have to. Paddythefish is an interesting debutant for Karl Burke and ground slower than good may help him out here, while Bajan Tryst looks bred to go well over this sort of trip and money would make him interesting. Eyesore is another worth a look in the market on debut, but for today we will side with Prime Mood.
