Verdict

KEY PLAYER produced a late surge to win a novices race over a mile at Lingfield recently and may well shrug off a penalty with this longer trip likely to suit. Salazar made a winning start at Ayr last year but struggled at York when last in action. Dance Legend may prove best of the remainder with racecourse experience as this looks easier than last month’s debut task at Wolverhampton. Francophilia is a Frankel filly related to three winners and makes most appeal of the newcomers ahead of Jimmy Geronimo.
