In depth
Verdict
A good race to round off the card and Peppertree Lane is a tentative choice to get the better of Lets Roll and Camrose. There may also be more to come from Gavroche, as he goes well fresh and is a useful tool on his day. However, his form did reach a plateau last term and he needs to post an improved display. Camrose found life hard last season and does not look particularly well treated for the coming campaign. Still, the outing will do him the power of good and, as he has been gelded since last season, he is one to keep on the right side when he gets his ground. However, everything points towards Peppertree Lane, whose yard remain in cracking form. Mark Johnston's charge would be giving plenty of weight away if this were a handicap and he is fancied to exploit the opening if all goes to plan for Kevin Darley's mount.
