Dazzling Bay is starting to recapture his form and can defy topweight here, with Fantasy believer, Pic Up Sticks and Peruvian Chief seen as the main dangers. Dazzling Bay has the past form to take all the beating and there was a great deal of encouragement to be gleaned from his staying on third to Baltic King at Beverley recently. A little bit more improvement should see him go close. Fantasy Believer ran a blinder in the Ayr Gold Cup, finishing second to Funfair Wane, and if over those exertions, should give the selection plenty to think about. Pic Up Sticks never figured behind Halmahera at Doncaster but Mick Channon's stable is very much in form at present so he cannot be discounted. Peruvian Chief had the misfortune to bump into Texas Gold at Goodwood but he too is returning to form judged on that effort and is yet another possible, but we shall pin our hopes on Dazzling Bay who can pay to follow this autumn.
