KELLYS EYE is narrowly preferred ahead of Mark Anthony and Trade Secret. It would also be dangerous to rule out Bossy Kitty, who is already a course winner and is versatile regarding the ground. Being set to carry top weight is a concern against some of these lightly raced individuals, though. Trade Secret has a likeable attitude and is very capable of making the rest aware of his presence. He can help to set a decent tempo and ensure a good test unfolds. Mark Anthony won over c&d as a juvenile - capping off a progressive campaign with a gutsy display. He may have been in need of the outing on his reappearance at Thirsk last month, so would have to merit serious consideration if the market indicated strong support going his way. However, Kellys Eye is improving with every run and, as Robert Winston has already proved he has an affinity with the son of Noverre, today's jockey booking can provide us with a winning formula in a very tricky race to round off the card.
