Stunning In Purple was more Beaten In Blue last time out in a race she should have been winning so we will side with ITS YOU AGAIN ahead of Reckless Reward. Mick Quinlan's son of Avonbridge shaped well at Newcastle, eventually filling third spot behind impressive winner On The High Tops. This looks an easier assignment and this colt should have learnt plenty from that first run (was an unfancied 20/1shot). Reckless Reward was sixth to Dinkum Diamond on his racecourse bow at Salisbury and he did well to finish that close after losing his action/jumping a path at halfway. He is another who should be a lot wiser this afternoon and as long as he remains balanced going down the hill he should run well. Coeus is bred to be pretty smart and there are hints in his pedigree that he might be more precocious than many of his stablemates; however the safer option might be to side with the mother's side of his bloodlines which suggest a mile at three will be more his cup of tea. I Scream froze on debut and is readily taken on, along with Renesmee who was a well-beaten 100/1 shot at Wolverhampton on her first start. Of more interest then is Stunning In Purple who was given a poor ride by this jockey when second at Brighton last month. He will be keen to atone and with her experience of running downhill in her favour she should run a big race despite flopping last time out. An interesting start to the card then but we are happy enough to plump for Its You Again.
