NOBLE JACK gets the nod here ahead of Fromthebeginning and Illuminative. Gary Moore's gelding was fairly well-held behind Cereal Killer at Chepstow just the other day but he may fare better this afternoon now returned to Lingfield. He won here back in January to break his maiden tag and although it has since been proven that he is no superstar and that marks in the 70's flattered him, he can bounce back in this lesser grade. Baycat is not ignored over a more suitable trip with the blinkers employed for the first time, Fromthebeginning didn't excel on his sole trip to the track but was racing over too far and this is more realistic, whilst Illuminative is fairly-treated at these weights and the gelding will run a better race now dropped back in trip. Douchkette is modest, Ant Music is narrowly held by the selection on their run at Chepstow last week, whilst Brave Decision has not gone on since his debut but may do better today moving off the fibresand. Any support for the newcomers would be intriguing however we are happy to stick with Noble Jack.
