Pepper Lane has already won three times over C&D this season, including in the valuable Great St Wilfrid Handicap last month when Tajneed was a never-nearer eighth. Dandy Nicholls' charge is 10lb better off today, however, and has since reversed the form at Ayr. David O'Meara's filly looks to be in the handicapper's grip now while Below Zero hasn't managed to reproduce the form of his Leopardstown win in a couple of races since, though he will almost certainly blaze a trail from stall 14 here which will suit ADVANCED admirably. Kevin Ryan's eight-year-old does best from off fast pace and proved he still had plenty of mileage in his legs when third in the Ayr Silver Cup last week - he remains very well treated on his old form. Murbeh won a valuable sales race over C&D as a juvenile and was back to his best at Newmarket in July but has plenty of weight for a three-year-old.
