Verdict

Royale's Charter struggled to get his head in front last season and wouldn't have beaten Fountain's Flypast at Newton Abbot earlier this month had the latter not blundered and unseated his rider two out. Ian Williams' charge is worth opposing in this better grade. With Grace came unstuck at Newton Abbot last time but can't be ignored in this lesser grade getting weight from platers Denton Ryal and Mickmacmagoole, while Businessmoney Judi still has plenty of scope. Pollen Jock is 7lb higher than when only second over 2m5f here last time, however, and Tara Warrior's best form is on fast ground so we're sticking with SPICE BAR. Declan Carroll's seven-year-old has come on in leaps and bounds over hurdles and on the Flat this year and looks ready for this step up in grade - he may still be well treated.
