A race like this looks well within the range of FASTNET STORM, who is well drawn for once and 3lb better off with Euston Square than when runner-up to Alistair Whillans' charge over C&D in July. The top weight should be prominent throughout and can hold off recent Lingfield winner Satwa Dream and Johnny Lesters Hair, who has run some of his best races over this C&D in the past. El Muqbil has some decent form in the book and could play a part, but Pontefract second Solar Spirit has his stamina to prove over this longer trip and this may be too tough for veteran Fossgate while Lucky Windmill disappointed at Newcastle after winning a weak contest at Hamilton.
