MOSEEB won what probably wasn’t the hottest juvenile race ever to be staged at York but he obliged in authoritative fashion and he is anticipated to go in again. Victory will be no certainty as Viscount Loftus has plenty to like about him. Fast away when scoring on debut at Yarmouth, he was predictably outclassed when tried in the Norfolk Stakes. Arizona Mist didn’t help herself by hanging badly at Nottingham. Simon Crisford’s team are in form and Paul Mulrennan is an interesting booking. Royal Diplomat makes a debut for Richard Fahey. He was turned over at short odds on his two starts in Ireland and connections will be hoping that he has matured in the interim. Laith Alareen briefly threatened to post a big odds upset at York. With rain forecast, his pedigree suggests that he won’t be too inconvenienced by the ground.
