Scotty's Future has more to do off a 4lb higher mark than when successful at Beverley last time in a similar contest and preference is for the well treated Court Of Appeal, who gets the vote ahead of Lake Wakatipu. The selection is set to go up 5lbs in future handicaps following a decent effort in a Chester handicap last time and looks worth chancing on that evidence. King's Crest is closely matched with Scotty's Future on Beverley running and has upheld that form in two starts since then so cannot be discounted, while Platinum Charmer has become frustrating of late. Acuzio and Lake Wakatipu are hard to separate on Chester running when finishing in front of the selection but Court of Appeal is easily the pick of the weights on running at the Roodee and he gets the vote.
