Trevian is 2lbs lower than when a length behind Bold Diktator at Bath and has an obvious chance on that evidence so gets the vote ahead of Orpen Quest and Cordage. The last mentioned has been well held in recent starts but has been given a chance by the handicapper. Frogs' Gift belied big odds when a close sixth at Catterick last time and could be going the right way, while Ali D could do with some help from the handicapper. Leighton Buzzard has not done much wrong of late and makes more appeal than Royal Indulgence, who was a fortunate winner at Carlisle on Monday. Thornaby Green is strictly held by Leighton Buzzard on running last time and a bigger threat may come from Orpen Quest, who ran up to his best at Nottingham last time but may want a softer surface. Trevian looks to be well treated though and he gets the vote.
