Jack Flash is the pace angle with Jason Hart expected to adopt trailblazing tactics on the course and distance scorer. He outpaced Copper Knight here earlier in the season and could prove hard to catch but was beaten by DAKOTA GOLD in the spring and the Dods inmate is taken to confirm placings despite being 6lb worse off now. The topweight has run another excellent race since and hopefully will not be inconvenienced by his low draw in a relatively small field. He can take a nice tow into the race and pounce late under Connor Beasley who knows him well. Desert Sport is progressing but steps up in grade whilst Night Law shaped well on his first start for the Fahey team and is a threat off the bottom perch. Rozy Boys is unexposed and cannot be discounted either.
