Ela Gonda Mou won an equally poor contest when stepping up to 1m2f at Nottingham but led a long way out so the shorter trip shouldn't be a problem. His penalty makes things a little more difficult and in receipt of 4lb EASTWARD HO gets the nod. Jason Ward's charge hasn't had too much racing and his two victories came on Polytrack at the backend of last year but he very nearly made it three at Beverley last time when caught in the dying strides over that stiff 7f. That was only his second run of the year and he looks up to going one better. My Mate Jake will like the going but is better over further while Viking Dancer is still a maiden after 13 starts though he couldn't fall much lower in the ratings.
