Charles Kingsley has looked high enough in the weights since landing a double earlier in the year though he faced a much tougher task in the Old Newton Cup at Haydock last time. Koeman remains 9lb higher than when successful at Ascot last summer while Jabbaar makes a quick reappearance after going close at Haydock a couple of days ago but looks to be treading water off his current mark. Mutamaded saves his best for this venue and was narrowly beaten over track and trip earlier in the week but a chance is taken FAYEZ stays the distance. He was winning over 1m2f here in June and David O’Meara’s charge will find this easier than last week’s assignment in the John Smith’s Cup at York.
