        Verdict

        Roger Varian rarely sends his juveniles up to Ripon so we'll take the hint and row in with KHAWAATER. The filly blew the start badly at Lingfield last month and could never quite get on terms. Having raced against better opposition in the past, we'll take her to excel for today's drop in class. Zuzinia is a tough individual, and she may have finished closer at Chester but for meeting significant interference. Rated officially at 71, she is the benchmark for the remainder to aim at. Handsome Dude holds entries in the big sales races so a check of the market is advised about David Barron's debutant. Magic Time has been given plenty of time off since folding tamely at Catterick, whilst Secret Friend is noted with nurseries in mind.
