With Tim Easterby's stable now coming into form after a quiet spell the well-handicapped Good Girl looks worth a chance against the likes of Baralinka, My American Beauty and Dani Ridge. The selection had a disappointing season last year but is thrown-in on two-year-old form and, with ground conditions to suit and the stable back among the winners, she looks worth a bet at likely odds. Like the selection, Dani Ridge has slipped to an attractive mark and cannot be dismissed lightly, Baralinka lost no caste in defeat behind the improved Fire Up The Band at Newmarket last time (Injaaz held) and could improve again, while My American Beauty has claims on running at Redcar last time, if staying this extra furlong. Newcastle winner Consensus was well held off today's mark at Chester's May meeting and looks to be in the grip of the handicapper now.
