A run of the mill seller in which Michael Chapman's Apadi is given the nod over recent winners Rookery Lad and Pure Mischief. Michael Chapman's Apadi is given the narrow vote on the evidence of his second in non-selling grade at the track in March. Although he has subsequently disappointed at Market Rasen, the recent rain will have assisted his charge and he is given the vote to score here today. Rookery Lad won a desperate affair at Huntingdon in good style. The handicapper looks to have been none-too-lenient for that victory and the subsequent 11lb rise in his handicap mark certainly tempers any enthusiasm. Feanor finished second in a similar contest at the track. He was rated in triple figures when with George Moore and that run represented his best effort for quite some time. Knockrigg would have appreciated further rain as his best form is when the mud is hock deep. Doberman and Dinofelis are often well backed in this grade but rarely seem to trouble the judge. Pythagoras would have chances on his fourth to L'Etang Bleu at Uttoxeter but he has been equally difficult to win with.
