Boanerges is well treated on his best form and gets the vote to take advantage of a good draw, with Merlin's Dancer and Kings College Boy rated the main dangers. The selection hails from the stable of Milton Bradley that has hit form in recent weeks and the seven-year-old showed his best form this term when chasing home Doctor Dennis over six furlongs at Brighton last time. The son of Caerleon is best over a stiff five furlongs, is set to go up 3lbs in future handicaps and, as we have said, is well drawn. Boanerges gets the vote to gain an overdue success. Top weight Merlin's Dancer bounced back to form when landing a classified stakes race here over six furlongs last time but an 8lb rise since then looks harsh and a bigger threat could come from Kings College Boy. Richard Fahey's gelding showed signs of a revival at Hamilton last time and is entitled to be thereabouts again. Mick Channon's Sunley Sense made an encouraging return, following a long absence, at Windsor earlier this month but may bounce and of more interest may be Jeremy Glover's Musical Fair, although she has been done few favours with a draw in stall nine. The seven-year-old Strensall and David Chapman's Torrent have claims on their best but are not in particularly good form at present and preference is for Boanerges, who gets the vote.
