Transfixed has been done no favours by the draw so it could pay to side with LAIRY who is nominated over Dispol Kabira and Musiara. David Nicholls has his stable in good form and Lairy ran well enough on his debut at Thirsk when he looked in need of the experience. This slight step-up in trip should suit and from the best of the draw he could be the value call. In contrast, Transfixed won well on her debut but she failed to build on that and she has been drawn in the car park. Dispol Kabira sprung a surprise when winning a maiden at big odds at Hamilton last week, but it may be that she was suited by the give underfoot that day and unless the forecast rain gets into the ground she may be best watched today. Musiara has shown steady improvement and she tackles this trip for the first time so if that brings out about some improvement then she could also be of interest. The market may provide the clues but we will side with Lairy as the pick.
