A good conditions event to open the card which could go the way of the improving Mokabra, with the bang in-form Peek To Creak and Danesmead expected to give the selection the most to do. The Mick Channon-trained son of Cape Cross got to within three lengths of One Cool Cat at The Curragh last time - form which has subsequently been boosted at Group 1 level by the winner. Mokabra got off the mark in good style in a decent maiden at Newcastle in May but has simply found a few too good since then - a factor which may ensure that he goes off at a decent price with the likes of Peek To Creak, who is seeking a four-timer in the field. Danesmead is also better than he showed last time and will be very interesting if he is supported today. However, Mokabra may provide the best bet at the likely prices in a tricky opener for punters.
