Imperial Lucky has run well in similar company in her last two starts and is entitled to be thereabouts again but may once more have to settle for a minor role with preference for First Among Equals, who gets the vote ahead of Spitzensparkes. The last mentioned has not looked to be the easiest of conveyances but this could well be her level and she has to be respected dropped into a seller for the first time, although John Quinn's filly may be better over the minimum trip. Nigel Tinkler's Dancing Edge has claims on the pick of his form but is held by the selection on running last time and of more interest may be Kevin Ryan's once-raced Kayrati, especially if the market speaks in her favour. The fitting of blinkers may make a difference to Tim Easterby's Holy Blessing, while Horsefair Dancer showed signs of ability in this grade at Catterick on her most recent start. The vote though goes to First Among Equals, who has run well in better races than this and now drops to a more realistic level.
