Tarraman gets the confident vote to win this handicap with Salinja, Bentley Brook and Defi heading the list of dangers. The selection won well on his first run of the season when beating Munsef in a maiden. That form has since been franked and although he has plenty of weight for this his first try in a handicap, he is held in very high regard and is taken to win this before going on to much better things. Salinja rates the main danger on his latest second behind Enforcer. That form also looks rock solid but he is more exposed than the selection and lacks his scope, and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Bentley Brook is another worthy of respect as he also won a maiden in good style last time out when beating Top The Charts. However, he has given the impression he would be suited by a longer trip. Defi was well behind Salinja last time and even on these revised terms he has plenty to find. This is a competitive affair but for the winner we return to Tarraman who is taken to win this before going on to much better things.
