River Dawn has won three of four starts so far this year but this looks a tough assignment under a penalty. Global Spirit probably produced a career-best at Haydock last month and is only 2lb higher but Pontefract scorer Frankelio has similar claims. Tim Easterby runs three with Garden Oasis looking the pick fitted with blinkers. Tukhoom was kept very busy last year and has already run twice this summer with Saisons D'or also looking in the handicapper’s grip. ALFRED RICHARDSON (NAP) has been dropped a further 3lb since his run at Redcar on going that was quicker than ideal. The blinkers are back on today and he has a nice draw on a track where he has performed well in the past so he’ll be hard to keep out of the frame.
