Four-year-olds have won three of the last five renewals and David O’Meara trained last year’s victor and his KHARBETATION (NAP) could be a bit better than a 93-rated handicapper judged on an eye-catching debut at Thirsk last summer where he overcame a tardy start and inexperience to win going away. Gurkha Friend has been in excellent form around here lately and beat Two For Two on his penultimate start. Roller may still be improving and is less exposed than Boots And Spurs and Swift Emperor but Bahama Moon was only fourth in this last year when a pound lower.
