Verdict
Bossipop has an excellent record over track and trip and gained reward for some consistent performances when scoring at Pontefract late last month. Though it might be tough to defy a penalty, Tim Easterby’s charge may have the plum draw. Captain Dion was in good form on the all-weather over the winter but hasn’t raced since April but Sir Billy Wright beat Bossipop on worse terms at Thirsk two runs ago. SNAP SHOTS missed the break last time at York so that run is easily forgiven. In excellent form earlier, he won this last year when only 3lb lower and a repeat may be on the cards. Avon Breeze and Signore Piccolo are others to consider.
