Ruth Carr is represented by King Torus and the veteran Dubai Dynamo, who won this in 2011, with preference for the former, who created a shock when landing a similar grade handicap at Newcastle and is just 2lb higher. Smarty Socks generally races in better company and is well enough handicapped though the ground could be a concern while stablemate Hit The Jackpot has been raised 7lb for his victory in a lower class event at Musselburgh. Don't rule out old Suits Me, who won this on his reappearance a year ago and is just 2lb higher, though the vote goes to BOLD PREDICTION, who has produced a couple of excellent runs in better company recently including a narrow defeat by Capo Rosso on this track.
