Verdict

David O'Meara could win races with the stable cat at present and ST MORITZ looks another for the yard. At this time last season he was racing from a mark of 95 and was down to 72 when bolting up on ground with some give at Redcar last week. He wore a first-time visor that day and with the headgear on again and just a 6lb penalty to overcome he should win again. Maybeme won a similar race to this over track and trip a year ago but has become something of a Beverley specialist and won easily there last time. However, she's gone up 7lb for that victory and that may be enough to prevent a follow-up. Moccasin has never won since arriving from France though his best run came on heavy ground so further rain would aid his cause. Life And Times completed a Wolverhampton double in the spring but has run poorly in two subsequent starts.
